Internal Parts

The Daniel Defense® MK18 RIII 14.5'' EDGE™ HAL ETU™ replica is equipped with the HAL ETU™ electronic processor unit, which elevates the weapon's performance to a whole new level. This upgrade moves the Specna Arms brand from the mid-range into the elite company of prestigious brands offering the latest technological features in the basic variants of their weapons.
The HAL name is derived from the principle of the so-called Hall effect, allowing the unit to detect trigger sensitivity. It also increases the weapon's rate of fire and allows for the safe use of Li-Pol batteries 7.4V and 11.1V.
The MK18 is equipped with a precise 6.03 mm barrel, which increases accuracy, and an adjustable Hop-up chamber with high-quality bucking.
Also, a more common standard nowadays, the QSC ESA (quick spring change) system allows you to install a stronger/weaker spring as you see fit. The spring can be changed without the need for special tools – no more need for a long screwdriver; just loosen the tube nut, and you have direct access to the QSC screw in the gearbox.
It is also reinforced and contains premium internal components (listed below), with the gearbox capable of functioning with springs up to M120 (as noted by Specna Arms in the description of the ORION gearboxes).

Important Notice for Weapon Activation

In order to fire the weapon, it is necessary to activate the HAL ETU unit and follow this exact procedure. Otherwise, the weapon will not respond to the connected battery:

1. Switch the fire selector to the Safe position.
2. Connect the battery and wait for 3 seconds until you hear a beep.
3. Press and hold the trigger for 5 seconds until you hear another beep.
4. The weapon is now ready to use.
