This premium spring by Guarder is designed for AEG rifles like PSG and SR-25 with extended gearboxes and 19-tooth pistons. The spring is made from tempered Si-Cr wire, ensuring its long lifespan and reliability. The progressive (irregular) winding of the spring eases compression in the initial phase, while maintaining sufficient force for optimal weapon performance. Guarder springs are performance consistent even after thousands of shots, and unlike cheap springs, their performance matches their rated stiffness. Guarder is a renowned Taiwanese brand known for producing quality parts. Thanks to its focus on precision and quality control, Guarder has earned a solid reputation among airsoft upgrade parts manufacturers.
Guarder PSG springs are available in various stiffness levels: SP100, SP120, and SP150, offering different levels of muzzle velocity and desired performance. The resulting muzzle velocity is influenced by many factors, including proper air-sealing, nozzle operation, cylinder type, barrel length, and diameter. The stated values are purely indicative, and due to the full cylinder and extended PSG/SR-25 gearbox, you may achieve even higher performance with barrels longer than 470 mm.
Spring Type PSG | SP100 | SP120 | SP150 |
---|---|---|---|
Muzzle Velocity | 104 - 110 m/s | 122 - 131 m/s | 152 - 161 m/s |
When replacing the spring, make sure that the end of the spring with denser winding is on the spring guide facing outward from the gearbox.
