The DTK suppressor by 5KU is a replica of the multifunctional flash hider and compensator DTK SW Saiga-9 from the renowned accessory manufacturer Zenitco. It is designed for use with PP-19-01 Vityaz, PP-19 Bizon, and Saiga-9. This airsoft replica can be mounted on any weapon with a 14mm CCW thread on the outer barrel.
Manufactured from high-quality CNC-machined aluminum, it is lightweight, highly durable, and its hollow body allows for easy installation of a tracer unit/module.
Foam sound-dampening inserts are included inside the suppressor, which can partially reduce firing noise, as noise in AEG weapons is primarily generated inside the gearbox by piston impacts and gear rotation. For manual and gas-powered weapons (GBB, GBBR, HPA), the foam inserts inside the suppressor can achieve partial noise reduction. However, it is also important to dampen the functional mechanism of the airsoft weapon.
The most effective noise reduction can be achieved with EPeS damping inserts specifically tailored for the suppressor's type or diameter.
The suppressor can also serve as storage for an extended inner barrel. For greater accuracy, it is important to secure and center the protruding inner barrel inside the suppressor using centering inserts of the appropriate diameter.
