The CO2 magazine for the Northeast MP2A1/UZI GBB gas-powered submachine gun has a steel body and a 32-round capacity, just like the real-steel version. It is a spring-fed magazine, meaning the BBs are pushed by a spring into the hop-up chamber. The magazine is powered by a 12g CO2 cartridge.
Thanks to the switch on the top of the magazine, it is possible to fire the weapon on empty by deactivating the bolt catch, so the bolt will not lock back.
