External parts

Every sniper rifle SSG96 is characterized by its robust construction and premium materials, ensuring long-lasting durability even in demanding conditions throughout the year. The outer barrel features distinctive grooves and a thread, enhancing its aesthetic appeal while allowing the installation of suppressor adapters or tracer units. The receiver includes a 20mm RIS rail for mounting scopes to maximize the rifle's precision.
The bolt handle is enlarged and textured for easy manipulation, even when wearing gloves or in challenging conditions. A major upgrade from the MK1 version is the folding stock, replicating the real L96 model. Additional features include an empty magazine indicator on the receiver and a chamber-loaded indicator on the bolt, ensuring full situational awareness during gameplay. New additions also include a QD bipod mount and a spring-loaded magazine release, which ejects the magazine from the rifle without the need to pull it out manually.
Moreover, the rifle can now be converted for left-handed users, and it features a QSC quick spring change system. By unlocking the bolt lever near the trigger, the entire bolt can be removed for maintenance or adjustments.

Internal parts

Inside the SSG96, numerous components ensure excellent performance and reliability. The stainless steel cylinder and steel trigger mechanism provide low friction and high durability, ensuring smooth operation even at high muzzle velocities. All internal components are CNC-machined for maximum precision and longevity. As the rifle uses a manual spring mechanism, it is suitable for year-round use, including winter months. Cocking the rifle requires a reasonable amount of strength, making it potentially challenging for weaker individuals.
The inner barrel, with a diameter of 6.03 mm, is stabilized within the chamber using a clamping ring, significantly enhancing accuracy over long distances. The new CNC hop-up chamber features an easy-to-access TDC adjustment ring, similar to systems used in M249 or PROWIN/MAXX AEG chambers, located directly on the outer barrel. The adjustment ring is covered by a sliding cap, allowing adjustments to be made even while wearing gloves. The hop-up rubber is a FLAT type with a hardness of 70´. The cylinder features new grooves for an aggressive look and Gen2 guiding rings for smooth cocking.
