The PTS Enhanced Polymer Magazine (EPM) is one of the best mid-cap magazines for AEG AR-15 rifles by Tokyo Marui, featuring the unique Next-Gen Recoil Shock (NGRS) system, designed in the style of MAGPUL M2/M3 30-round magazines. This magazine offers two capacity settings: realistic 30 rounds or game-friendly 120 BBs. As expected, it maintains the legendary reliability of all PTS magazines.
Constructed from extremely durable DuPont Zytel polymer, it withstands harsh battlefield conditions and is suitable for training. When the last BB is fired, an orange follower pops up, signaling an empty magazine, which is visible through the open ejection port window, just like real firearms. The high-quality feeding spring and follower ensure smooth operation even at extreme rates of fire or in DMR rifles with heavy BBs up to 0.49g, without jamming or slow feeding.
The updated baseplate features an angled support design to improve stability when shooting from a supported position and enable easier magazine handling when retrieving from pouches. The grooved surface on the front and rear improves grip during reloads.

How to Switch Capacity from 120 BBs (Default) to 30 BBs

1. Press the baseplate locking pin inside the baseplate.
2. Slide the baseplate off the magazine.
3. Loosen the screw holding the internal casing inside the magazine.
4. Slide the internal casing out of the magazine shell.
5. On the right side of the casing, find the lever at the bottom.
6. The lever in the right position sets the capacity to 120 BBs. Move it to the left to switch to realistic 30 BBs.
7. Reinsert the magazine casing into the shell.
8. Secure it with the screw.
9. Slide the baseplate back onto the magazine and allow the locking pin to click into place.

Warnings & Recommendations

• A BB speed loader is required for filling, not included in the package.
• Always store magazines unloaded to prolong spring life.
• Before first use, fill the magazine with only 20 BBs, release them, then repeat the process with 40 BBs. Continue increasing by 20 BBs until full to gradually break in the spring.
