The Sten Gun MK.2(S) GBBR submachine gun with a skeleton stock from Northeast is a gas-powered GBBR airsoft submachine gun with blowback, providing a realistic imitation of recoil, giving it a strong kick!

History of the Sten Submachine Gun:

The submachine gun known as STEN or Sten Gun originates from British production, designed in 1940. It served in the ranks of Allied armies during World War II and beyond. The designers of this submachine gun were Harold John Turpin and Major Reginald Vernon Shepherd. The name "Sten" is a combination of their names, Shepherd and Harold Turpin, with the addition of "EN" indicating the Enfield factory where these submachine guns were manufactured. The STEN Mk II version was the most widespread and existed in two variants of the shoulder rest. The first variant had a frame made of a metal profile (Skeleton stock), while the second was equipped with a tube and welded plate (T stock). The bolt and trigger mechanism remained the same, but the wooden foregrip was removed. The barrel with a short cylindrical casing was screwed onto the bolt housing, allowing easy detachment. This version also allowed the attachment of a bayonet to the barrel casing. The STEN Mk II played a key role in the successful attempt to assassinate Heydrich, during which it infamously jammed. The STEN Mk II S version had a permanently attached sound suppressor on the barrel.

A GBB replica of the British STEN submachine gun, used from World War II to Vietnam by both Commonwealth countries' armies and resistance movements. The replica of the Mk.II version is made of robust steel, just like the original, with only the bolt being aluminum. The phosphate finish, the same as on sharp weapons, ensures resistance to surface wear. All of this creates a perfectly realistic whole. If you are a reenactor of the British army, resistance, or just want a perfect replica of the famous Sten for your collection, this weapon is precisely for you.

Airsoft Sten:

In terms of technical parameters, the airsoft submachine gun Sten Gun MK.2(S) GBBR has several interesting features. Its 32-round magazine capacity ensures an ample supply of ammunition. With a length of 940 mm and a barrel length of 330 mm, it offers flexibility in various tactical situations. Its weight of 3940 g provides the submachine gun with stability and fidelity to its prototype. The system, which includes Open Bolt Gas Blowback, Semi/Full Auto modes, and a TM standard hop-up rubber, provides a wide range of customization options according to the user's needs.

The Northeast Sten Gun MK.2(S) GBBR submachine gun will bring its future owners:

  • Real and durable surface finish:
The traditional and proven surface process with parkerizing adds durability and aesthetics to the submachine gun. Surface treatment with manganese phosphide. Steel construction (except for the bolt block, which is an aluminum alloy).

  • Bolt handle MK.5:
The MK.5 handle is designed to provide secure locking of the bolt. It is used in situations where the bolt is in the front position and allows its fixation with the receiver tube, eliminating the risk of an unintentional shot when falling.

  • No. 3 Mk.1 "Skeleton" stock:
The No. 3 Mk.1 "Skeleton" stock represents a more durable and comfortable variant. Its iconic appearance, often seen in historical photos from wars, including the Vietnam War, gives the submachine gun a distinctive look.

  • Authentic engraving:
Authentic engraving BSA (Birmingham Small Arms) on the magazine housing is not only a decoration but also confirmation of the origin from a reputable manufacturer, increasing the submachine gun's credibility.

  • Barrel sleeve:
Authentic reproduction of the sleeve (British Army webbing Fabric) on the barrel for a more comfortable grip and protection of the shooter's hands from the heated barrel.
