The inspiration for this weapon comes from the real submachine gun by Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod (CZUB), ensuring authenticity in every detail. This modernized "škorpion" is part of the equipment of many special military and police units. It has also appeared in numerous movies such as American Assassin, Fast & Furious, and Black Widow.

This latest version of CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 (2020+) symbolizes European engineering and design. With a body made of durable fiber-reinforced polymer as a sharp template and a 75-round poly-carbonate magazine, this weapon is lightweight yet durable. It features an extended magazine shaft for easy reloading and enlarged controls for effortless handling even with gloves. The newly designed mechabox (ASG EVO3 8mm) is built to handle springs up to M150. Inside, there are classic AEG components - ASG stress wheels, precision air technology. The weapon is powered by a high torque, high-quality Ultimate motor by ASG. Thanks to the quality of the inner barrel with a diameter of 6.04 mm, the weapon is relatively accurate despite being a PDW carbine with a short barrel. The mechabox is further equipped with QSC quick spring change system through the stock without the need to disassemble the weapon, following current standards.

The weapon is equipped with a wide range of technical innovations, including a new electronic unit ECU with empty magazine detection, wheel position detection, and a micro-switch with mosfet function and battery over-discharge/over-charge protection. The weapon also features a four-position fire selector with a functional three-round burst and the ability to shoot in modes safe/semi/burst/auto. With electronics similar to ASCU and the ability to quickly change the spring, CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 is highly adaptable to all game modes from CQB with basic M110 spring and single shooting to open field play with higher power and rate of fire.

CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 is LiPo ready with T-Dean (T-Plug) connector, meaning it is ready for high-performance Li-Pol and Li-Ion batteries that ensure consistent performance throughout the game. Suitable batteries can be found in the accessories section.

Inside the weapon, there is an improved version of internal parts 2020+, which, compared to the older version, offers a new gearbox skeleton of the mechabox, improved wheels, modified fire mode selector with smoother operation, and an entirely new set of air technology. Cylinder, piston, and cylinder head are fully compatible with V2 and V3 mechabox standards. Despite these changes, they are backward compatible with the older version.
