Heckler & Koch MP7 has an interesting history, which began in the 1990s. The weapon was developed in response to the growing demand for a new type of Personal Defense Weapon (PDW), which would offer greater effectiveness than standard pistols thanks to the 4.6x30mm caliber, but at the same time would be more compact and lighter than conventional assault rifles.
The MP7 was designed and manufactured by Heckler & Koch (H&K), a renowned German firearms manufacturer specializing in military and police weapons. The goal was to create a compact weapon capable of firing smaller, faster bullets, while being easily controllable and having low recoil.
The MP7 was first introduced to the public in 2001 and soon gained popularity among military and police units worldwide. Its compact design and ability to shoot accurately at short distances made it a favorite choice for special forces, security services, and rapid response teams. Currently, the 4th version with the designation MP7A1 is being produced.
Due to its performance, reliability, and ergonomics, the MP7 remains one of the most respected and recognized weapons in its class. Its competitor is the FN P90, which, however, is not as compact and, above all, reloading is more demanding.

The airsoft variant was created in collaboration with Umarex and VFC with the same designation MP7A1. Umarex Heckler & Koch are the most faithful airsoft replicas of this brand's weapons! This AEG submachine gun combines realistic details of the real MP7A1 weapon in a 1:1 scale with tuned internal parts within the production of the Taiwanese VFC (Vega Force Company), which supplied the weapon with extraordinary internal parts with perfect performance. The German company Umarex, founded in 1972, specializes in air guns and boasts official licenses from several prestigious firearms manufacturers such as Glock, Heckler & Koch, and Beretta. So their airsoft replicas are sought-after items among enthusiasts of Mil-Sim airsoft, as well as casual players, thanks to their excellent durability, reliability, and performance without the need for repairs and modifications as unfortunately necessary with cheaper replicas.
Umarex offers the MP7A1 submachine gun in electric AEG or gas GBBR versions.
With regard to realistic details and striking appearance, the MP7A1 is one of the most popular compact weapons (PDWs) in the airsoft world.

The AEG version offers cutting-edge technology and processing. The submachine gun has perfect body alignment, functional retractable MP7 stock, and H&K branding, including details.
The reinforced nylon body is top-notch and with a surface finish imitating the matte surface of real weapons, all finished with an MP7 stock with 3+1 positions.

Inside this gem, we find a atypical but reinforced VFC MP7 AEG gearbox with QSC quick spring change system, extraordinary internal parts of VFC MP7, and an integrated MOSFET, which allows you to use powerful Li-Pol batteries 11.1V (Mini stick type) placed above the outer barrel (space approx. 110 x 19 x 21 mm).
The polymer Hop-Up chamber and especially the precise 6.03 mm barrel ensure accuracy. The weapon's performance with the stock spring is approximately 105 m/s, but there is potential for performance increase (upgrade). Inside the gearbox, we find 4 atypical VFC MP7 gears, 8mm ball bearings (7.9mm), shortened cylinder, shortened piston with metal teeth, AEG piston head, atypical cylinder head and classic AEG nozzle.
The whole system is powered by a MOSFET with a VFC MP7 unit, which detects empty magazines and disconnects the firing system after firing the last BB from the magazine (auto-stop).
The spring is shortened and corresponds to springs for TM NGRS, LCT QM weapons. Custom upgrade parts can be obtained from FPS Softair and TopMax and Bullgear.
Gen2 additionally has a button on the upper RIS rail to release the piston in case of malfunction/jamming. The problematic feeder arm has been redesigned.
